Mariam Nasuna

 

Mariam is 3 years old and lives with her widowed mother and one younger brother in a poor village. She is sweet, hilarious, and always playing dolls and jump rope with her friends. Unfortunately her mother, a subsistence farmer, doesn’t have the resources to enroll her in school.
